Where the leaderboard is

Tap the fourth tab in Fomo’s bottom bar (your Friends view), then Leaderboard at the top. Your own rank and profit sit at the top of the screen.
What it ranks
Fomo tracks every trader’s realized and unrealized profit and loss, and the leaderboard ranks everyone by it. It isn’t a curated list of influencers: anyone can appear based on their trading. You can filter by 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days or all time, and rankings update in real time as positions move.
That design has two consequences worth understanding:
- Unrealized profit counts. A trader can rank highly on a position they haven’t sold yet. On a low-liquidity token, that paper profit may not survive a real sale.
- Dollar profit favours big accounts. Ranking by profit means a large account can top the board with a modest percentage gain.
A checklist before you follow anyone
Open the trader’s profile. It shows their positions, thesis posts and trading history.
- Compare time windows. Check 7 days, 30 days and all time. Someone who appears only on the 24-hour board may be riding one lucky trade.
- Separate realized from unrealized. Look at closed positions. Have they actually sold at a profit, or is the rank built on open positions?
- Check what they hold. If the gains sit in tiny, illiquid tokens, the numbers may be hard to realize. Our token research guide explains how liquidity limits a sale.
- Read their theses. Good theses explain why they bought and what would change their mind. A pattern of explained trades says more than a pattern of wins.
- Look at the losers too. How big are their losing trades compared with the winners?
Why win rate alone misleads
Here’s an illustrative example, not a real trader. Trader A wins 9 trades of $10 each and loses one trade of $150: a 90% win rate, but a $60 loss overall. Trader B wins 4 trades of $80 and loses 6 trades of $20: a 40% win rate, but a $200 gain. How much someone wins or loses per trade matters as much as how often they’re right.
Following, not copying
When you follow a trader, their buys, sells and theses appear in your Friends-only feed, and you can get notified when they trade. Fomo has no copy trading, so nothing executes automatically. That keeps you in control, but you’ll always see trades after they happen, at a later price.
Your Friends list shows each followed trader’s profit, sortable by percentage or dollars and filterable by 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days. It’s a quick way to check who’s still worth following.
We don’t publish a “best traders” list
Rankings change constantly, and a static list of names would be out of date within days. Use the live leaderboard for current names and the checklist above to judge them. For how the feed and theses work, see social trading on Fomo.
