What Fomo web is
Fomo launched its web app on 29 April 2026 at fomo.family. Fomo describes it as “not a trading terminal”: it keeps the mobile app’s simple flows and adds the room of a bigger screen. At launch, Fomo listed these features:
- Cross-chain swaps from one USD balance, with no bridging or chain switching
- The social feed, trending tokens and alerts
- Leaderboards across different time frames
- Theses, and following traders to get notified when they trade
- Quick buys
- Richer profile and coin pages, showing when theses were written, by whom and how popular they are, plus more holder detail
The same account on every device
Fomo web isn’t a separate wallet. Sign in with the same Apple ID or Google account you use on mobile and you’ll see the same profile, balance and positions. A trade opened on desktop shows up on your phone instantly, and notification settings and follows carry across.
Use the same login you signed up with. Signing in with a different Apple ID or Google account creates a new, separate account.
Signing up on the web
You can create an account directly on fomo.family. At launch, Fomo said web users could fund with crypto straight away, and use the mobile app for Apple Pay and debit card deposits. Check the deposit screen for what your account offers today.
Fomo applies referral codes at signup only. On a computer, our referral link opens fomo.family. Choose Start trading and make sure the code is entered before you finish creating the account.
Things that work slightly differently on web
- Risk warnings. On the web app, buying a token with a severe warning means ticking “I understand the risks of trading this token” and confirming.
- Small balances. Holdings worth under $2 are hidden by default. On the web the toggle is called Show dust; on mobile it’s Show hidden.
- Can’t find the app in your country’s store? Fomo’s help center says you can use the web app with the same Apple ID or Google account.
Staying safe in the browser
Browsers bring risks a phone app doesn’t. Fomo’s own security guidance:
- Type fomo.family yourself or use a bookmark you made. Don’t follow links from DMs or unfamiliar sites.
- Never use “bookmarklets” offered as trackers, snipers or claim buttons. A bookmarklet runs code inside your signed-in session and can act as you.
- Consider a separate browser profile just for trading, with no extensions.
- If Fomo shows its Security warning page, you arrived from a site it treats as suspicious. Fomo says to clear cookies, remove recent bookmarks, open a clean browser session and check your activity.
- No one needs your private key. Not a website, not a form, not “support”.
Fomo web or a trading terminal?
Fomo web is built around the social feed and simple buying. Dedicated terminals such as Axiom focus on order tools, wallet tracking and execution settings. See Fomo vs Axiom for a side-by-side comparison.
